Sutton Parkway Station, under construction 1995

View SE from B6021 bridge, towards Nottingham on the new Robin Hood Line, six months before the station opened (20/11/95), on the ex-Midland Nottingham - Mansfield - Worksop line, closed 12/10/64 but resurrected (with some deviations) as the Robin Hood Line, Nottingham - Newstead 8/5/93, on to Mansfield Woodhouse 20/11/95, to Worksop 6/98. This new station was built on a site about halfway between the former Kirkby-in-Ashfield and Sutton Junction stations.
